Post BA Executive Club and the subsidiaries

Despite what we're told by BA the BA the subsidiaries do NOT operate the same scheme.

As a gold card holder we have a facility called RES24. This enables us to get onto full planes providing we give 24 hours clear notice and stump up the cash for a full economy fare.

Just tried this but as my flight is operated by a 'partner' then this cannot be done.

Grrrrrrr

Yeah, I've had a similar problem with Continental - you can use frequent flyer miles on Air France (good) but not on Air France franchise flights (i.e. Brit'Air, Gill Airways, jersey European), which is 'a bit of an arse' to say the least.
