Post What happened to my Airtours flights?

hi guys,

No matter how hard i try, the holiday company wants to screw up my itenery .

Formerly:

Dep:AIH69 19th Dec01 10:45 MAN. arr: 13:15 YYC
Ret:AIH70 29th Dec01 15:15 YYC. arr: 06:45 MAN.

Now my flights are as so:

Dep:MON337 19th Dec01 11:20 MAN. arr: 13:05 YYC
Ret:AIH70 29th Dec01 15:00 YYC. arr: 06:25 MAN.

-------

Now, is there any difference in the flight/aircraft etc? Is it just Airtours cancelling their flight on a Wednesday to Calgary and filling up the free seets on MON?

Any info would be great!

Regards

Dan

Nice to see you picked up on my incredible spelling (any mistakes there?).

It does matter, to me anyway, and i'd rather know now who i am going to be flying with and on what aircraft, unless the holiday company have made a mistake (which i'm sure they haven't, i'm just checking) and given me the wrong flight details... again.

Is there a Monarch flight that leaves at that time from MAN for YYC? That is what i need to know.

Regards

Dan

Yes your info is correct the Monarch flight originates in LGW the operates MAN and direct to YYC. Flight operates all winter on A332.

Is LGW-MAN a ferry flight, or will there be passengers from LGW on the MAN-YYC flight?

I really hope there isn't because i need seats H and I on row 40-45...

Yes, flight is pax carrying from LGW to MAN. Why do you NEED H and I 40-45? I don't think MON use "I" on the A330. I think you will find they designate the middle/window J & K.

You can call/ email Monarch Customer Services

Yup, they emailed me back telling me there were passengers on that flight, although they haven't replied about whether i could prebook the night before (the travelagents would not let us).

40 H & I DONT exist on MON A330's, you want 38J & K to 45J & K if you only want a twin seat with window.
