Question BA north of the Watford Gap

There's a thread running in R&N about the (lack) of BA service in MAN. Just interested in the views on northern PAX on the service we get from BA?

IMHO as a very regular pax the BD service has been great on the shuttle and I look forward to their transatlantic service.

Ducks in anticipation

To be honest, when flying long-haul from the North, I don't use BA anyway.

BA seem to have the essential european cities pretty much covered from BHX and MAN so I don't feel isolated by them, in terms of choice.

And again, in any case, I prefer to use the competition which offers better value for money in most cases.

As an example, I had the choice of flying BA ex-BHX to MAD for a minimum of £134rtn, or EZY for £46rtn ex-LPL.

Well, i chose EZY despite BHX being 20mins away
