Post MD 90 Pitch Oscillation

Those SLF who may not often look in the Scandinavian Forum (MD90 Topic) may not be aware that there may sometimes be a requirement for SLF to assist the crew to fly the aircraft. It appears that some MD90's suffer from uncomfortable pitch oscillation in the cruise. While this can be very unpleasant in the back, the flight crew may be unaware of it.
We are advised that, if we experience this, we should ask a member of the cabin crew to ask the pilots to trim the aircraft properly i.e. disconnect the autopilot and retrim before switching back to A/P.

Unhappy

Next time I feel an MD of SV "bumping about", I'll call one of the Far Eastern stews and ask her to tell the driver his plane isn't properly trimmed . . .

. . . I'll probably get dropped out of the door after a diversion acrfoss the Rub-Al-Khali
