"Flying Cheap" and "another" TV show

Wasn't there some military general who, upon his (forced) retirement, quipped,

"Old contributors to PPRuNe never die, they just take occasional forced leaves-of-absence."

. . . or words to that effect.

Be that as it may, I'm back!

Getting off on a cerebral footing, did anyone see the excellent episode of PBS' FRONTLINE entitled "Flying Cheap", about the sad state of the regional airline industry in the USA? Highly recommended, and it's possible to watch it online:

FRONTLINE: flying cheap | PBS

And, in other news, Gadling had a recent follow-up article related to a bit I posted on 16JAN at 22:43 in the CC forum.

Virgin America's Fly Girls premiere party: insider access | Gadling.com

. . . and this from USA TODAY on the same topic:

Fly Girls: TV series follows flight attendants at home and in the air - USATODAY.com

"Louise Nguyen tells a reporter she hopes the show gives viewers 'a different perception of flight attendants.'"

Keep on hoping, Louise. Keep on hoping.
