May I ask the opinion of the pax/SLF on PAs in languages other than English.
If the flight runs, say London to Frankfurt would you like a pilot PA in both English and German ? Likewise if it goes LHR- Paris, one in English and repeated in French; or does it irritate. Thanks.

Seems sensible, especially in view of the increase in code shares and alliance networks.
I once flew on a Dallas Seatle Narita Bangkok service on which we were given English, Thai and Spainish PAs (each one read by somone whose 1st language it was not)
Asian carrier generally seem to give bilangual PAs.

Now if Canadian Flight Attendants could give the safety announcements in English as well as in Franglaise . . . .
and yes, if a flight is going (as mine frequently do) between the Middle East and UK, it is essential that at least the safety announcements are in 2 languages. Nice if the "pilot's brief" is too.
