Cool SLF??????????

Just wondering where this term Self Loading Freight ever came from - presume it DOES refer to pax?? Makes me feel like a luggage crate - mind you, with my disability, I sometimes end up getting treated like that as well - have to get a lifton to the plane, and some of the handlers make you feel that it would be easier to shove you into the hold!! TR.

TikkiRo, no offence implied. SLF comes from the fact that passengers usually walk on. You don't need to physically load them on like cargo. It is not meant to be an insult, merely a descriptive term.

Actually to many of us 'SLF' will always mean 'Stiff Little Fingers' - http://www.slf.com

without the link it would have been hard to tell whether you mean stiff little fingers the band or stiff little fingers the vibrators piece.

Well, I just woke up one day and there I was...

I don't mind the phrase. Every industry has a pet word for their beloved customers or punters, after all. But you don't want to know what we think of the readers...
