Ans 1 - YES (I'm one and I do - anyone with an interest in Aviation is welcome to PPRuNe, as I found out in spades last Friday night )
Ans 2 - Hop over to the Manchester Bash (2nd page) at <A HREF="http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/Forum50/HTML/000164.html" TARGET="_blank">http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/Forum50/HTML/000164.html</A> for some hints
"I'll watch for you on the seat beside me some time!!"

SLF
Was a pleasure to meet you Friday and again on Saturday - were you really the last to leave. Yes, Prune members are the best as I've found out over the past years (gosh is it that long already).
The Temperance Dance was rather envigorating wasn't it m'dear.

It was a great Bash! But I'm afraid SLF can't claim the "last to leave" (unless he was hidiung somewhere!) as the bar was totally deserted when beautiful daughter #2 collected me at 14:30
Real bummer that I couldn't make the Bash at MAN

Beatiful daughter number 2 ??
Damn, if I'd known that I wouldn't have left so early either. I was snoring in the business class lounge round about then unfortunately
Glad you enjoyed it ESG, haste ye back...in May ??

Velvet -- I wasn't the last to leave... far from it.
But it was fab. And I did get my PPRuNe badge. And I've now worn it on an aircraft (Oh, OK, a BAe ATP) twice without being thrown out at altitude (or as much of an altitude as a ATP can manage). So I guess it's allowed...

That's comforting. I was wondering what *might* happen if I would ever dare to wear one. Whispered conversations among the crew ("This one's trouble . . ." etc.), sidelong glances, suddenly and (seemingly) inexplicably being lashed to my seat for the duration of the flight.

I believe that Capt. Pprune said at the Gatbash (remember, we were all rather "tired" after drinking so much tea and dancing with Velvet ) that he was setting up a credit card email/web ordering arrangement.
(Yet another drain on the good Captain's time in the interests of Pprune-ism )

Sorry Mate - #2 is married and the mother of my 2 grand-kids, but # 1 is still single, although you'd have to visit the bars in PHL or fly US-Air to meet her, and make it soon or she'll be married to a PHL cop If you want to know how to recognise her, she's the Effay with her US-Air wings and PPRuNe wings on her uniform
Pax D
If above mentioned Effay is on your flight, the word will probably go around "Oh, he's [i]one of them[/b] - just give him a ton of beer and he'll probably be no trouble. If he is, it's out with the one-time-handcuffs (hope that doesn't get this moved to JB!!)
