Easyjet LTN-SAW cancellation

Easyjet LTN-SAW cancellation
Hi,
I received an email earlier today telling me that "due to unforseen circumstances", my Easyjet U2 2383 flight on January 6th Luton-Istanbul has been cancelled.
Not really a big problem as I'll just tell work that I'll come a day later probably on the next flight but it means I have to rebook the Easyjet flight for another day as well as my National Express ticket.
Anyone in the know happen to know the actual reason for the cancellation? Any answers would be appreciated.
