Finnair pilots strike: any news, forecasts?

Anyone know anything about this? Apparently started yesterday, most flights cancelled. Is it an indefinite strike, or is there a scheduled finish? I don't begrudge Finnair pilots taking a stand on what I understand are some pretty legitimate grievances, but I'm taking the whole family on Finnair to Australia for Christmas, and travelling long-haul with infants and toddlers (plus mother-in-law) means low tolerance for disruption and delay. I'm a big fan of Finnair and would like to stick with them, but should I be looking to make other arrangements? Departing 17 Dec, so there's still time.
