Quick security question (NCL)

Hi,
My family and I are flying out of Newcastle (ncl) this friday morning. I'd like to be advised if we are allowed to take food past security in hand luggage? It's for our 22 month old son. The food we will, if permitted bought from Boots (it's the sealed packed of fruit you get with the meal deals) We may also take if permitted some of the corn rings. I know there is a Boots after security but Im unsure if they sell packaged food?
Normally this would not be a problem but we are flying quite early and would like him to have some decent food for breakfast, He can also be a fussy eater and we know he loves fruit.

Many thanks

Solid food should not be a problem at all. It's liquids they're after, so fruit and corn rings sound fine to me.

It's great that you're taking your own food for your child. I wish more parents were like you... Enjoy!

Have you considered talk with Boots, to see if they can reserve you what you need airside?
