14 at certain airlines.

The best answer is that it varies with airlines but between 14-18. Give customer services a call with the airline you are travelling with.

There is no legal age stipulated in EU-Ops. It is down to each operator to specify its procedures and have these accepted by the relevant aviation authority. On some aircraft ABP ages can be as high as 20 - the 767-300 overwing exit hatches are so heavy that individual operators had restricted them

Even though I know that wasn't the answer to your question, but its pax that can't sit in emergency exits!

But I believe that most operators policies state children are up to 14 years old.

There was a CAA (UK) FODCOM that was issued within the last couple of months that acted as a reminder for operators for persons unsuitable for sitting adjacent to emerengy exits. I can't find that FODCOM now, despite printing a hard copy...but I don't recall there being an specific age limit.

@ FOXY BABY

IAA minimum age has been changed to 15. It has been for some time. However, 15 with obvious restrictions such as if they're a small for 15 years of age etc.
