Saga Airlines

I'm travelling from ABZ to DLM in July with Saga Airlines.

I've never flown with/heard of them before.

Anyone ever flown with them before? Any reviews?

Cheers.

Hi TF

Don't worry - it isn't full of little old ladies.... Saga Airlines is an Istanbul based, mainly charter facility leasing their fleet out a lot. Find their planes in colours of Sky, Air Algerie, Mahan, Araina Afghan - pics on airliners.net if interested. Operates flights for Jetairfly, Pegasus, Air Malta, PIA and others - so comparable to Titan or Air Atlanta in that they provide a dry / wet lease facility for other airlines...their website for info is at: SAGA Airlines

Looks like a load of flights to NCL this summer, noted on other forums too.

Not flown personally so can't offer more info, but hope that of some use.

SAGA Group (Insurance etc.) and SAGA Holidays are available (I think) to anyone over 50.

Hi TF. Glad to help.

50 must be the new 60 - spotted a computer mag recently offered specifically to 'seniors', and in large font too to help the old dears - then noted the tag line: '....for the over 50's...' !

Yup, Saga have services for the over 50s - dating service too, if that doesn't make you feel all itchy and nervous about what 'old' people get up to nowadays!.....

Saga Airlines seem to be pretty reliable - but I gather many of the Onur Air flights have been shelved (esp. for Birmingham deps) as low bookings for June/July 2009, so enjoy the break when it comes.

Most flights out of the UK this summer with SAGA are operated by Viking Airlines with their crew
