I think this might bring back some fond memories of trips gone by for more than a few on this board and perhaps, stir a little pride that we've been part of the journey for this magnificent machine.

There was also a Times article posted elsewhere yesterday:

Interesting thing to note - at the bottom, apparently the 747-8 (if it goes ahead) will have a max take off weight of both 439,985kg and 14,815km! Someone really needs to get their articles proof read...
