Charge for drinks

Hello alltogether,

by browsing through the threads today, I came across a posting that claims that
all American carriers charge for drinks now on flights across the pond in coach
class.
Well, I travelled to the US from Europe recently in Coach with NW and had
a plenty of drinks without being charged for one.
So, are there carriers that still dont charge or was this only because it was a
flight share with KLM?
Thanks for your answers and enjoy your drinks

Some carriers do, some don't.
