Ryanair Online Check-in.

I'll be using Ryanair's online check-in for the first time next week and have just downloaded the boarding card. What looks as if it should be a bar code block (next to the Check'n'Go signs) is disjointed in several places and looks vaguely like capital letters in alternating short black and white lines. Is this normal or is it a download fault?

I could call Ryanair but it's cheaper to ask here!
