Sharm El Sheik Flights

Hi

We are hoping to go on holiday to Sharm this Winter,we would like to fly on a big aircraft ie 767 or A330,does anyone have the schedules yet or are we likely to get a 757 or A320/A321.I know Monarch,Thomas Cook,Thomsonfly have flights to Sharm.

Cheers

Martin

Jubilee,

for thomson, use this link for Thomson Cargo, it lists every flight in the Tui group of airlines and equipment type.

ITUA330.
Checking the link on the above post,it would appear that most of Thomsons flights are on 757s. For the fun of it you could try Easy, or from LHR Egypt Air,which should be a 777 to Cairo, and varied equipment down to SSH.

pretty much all UK charters will be 320/321/738/757 and EZY will be the ex GT 320/321s

you have to remember TOM operate 13 738s and 27 B752s and 13 B763s, making them probably the largest European operator of B757 now by some margin? as well as the A320s and B733s

for info, the link above for ANA Cargo is only for TOM, TUIfly Nordic (BLX) and Jetairfly (JAF) so doesn't include Arkefly, TUIfly (Germany), Corsairfly or Jet4you.

Monarch has a flight from LGW. MON1904/MON1905 flown with an A300. Also MON346 is flown with a 767 sometimes a A330. This info was correct as at July, so check before booking.

All of Thomsonfly and First Choice flights for this winter are operated on a 757 or smaller from all UK airports.

It starts to change closer to the summer and you may get one of Thomsonfly's older 767-200 on this route(maybe even a 767-300 in April) once they have finished their lease commitments from the early part of the winter.

Your best bet would be Monarch from LGW, good chance on A300 or A330, will not be on B767 but may be on B757.
When are you thinking of going?

I'm not putting a dampner on your plans, But I think you would be lucky to find any flights/holidays for this winter under about 600.00 pounds each?

The reason I know this problem is we are going out there in December, And we booked in January for a week at the Dreams Beach Resort - 470.00 each All inclusive.

But now with all of the XL collapse, There are very 'few' seats left on Aircraft going out to Sharm, As capacity is obviously less now.

Even at TOM all the flights are filling up quick or full up for this winter.

And the chances of them adding extra flights are probaby slim?

You maybe better looking at going somewhere else, Or waiting until next summer/winter as prices should reduce.

Or unless you want to/ or can afford to pay 600.00 + each for a week?

That Seems alot of money to me, Put it towards your mortgage or whatever?

I know that most High St op's are 3/4 filled up.

Best Wishes Wherever You Go.
