United "Premium Economy"

Folks

I am off to Cleveland in a few weeks with United ex LHR returning via ORD. I was browsing the seatmap and discovered the Premium Economy section. It appears that this can be purchased for $200US .I can see that the pitch is slightly greater 35 inches versus 31,BUT is that the ONLY difference?

I flew PE with ANZ LHR-HKG-LHR last year and was well pleased....this looks ...less good.

Has anyone used it? Is it worthwhile?

Thanks

EW

Yes, although it's the front rows of the Y cabin closer to the door if that's important to you.
Is it worthwhile
I'd say so for transatlantic ($200 o/w or both ?).

Yes - I was able to upgrade at check-in 3 weeks ago. For £46 it is worth the extra space and you are more likely to get your first choice of meal
