FCA056 BRS to SFB

Due to fly this route in a few weeks time and interested if anyone knows why this flight is delayed from the scheduled 10.30 departure to 16.30 today?

Must be some very tired kids and parents waiting in BRS!

No idea, the aircraft seemed to depart from LGW ok on its flight to BRS. On checking SFB website it will be arriving in at approx 2035 EST.

Must have had a technical issue in Bristol.

Have a good flight, you are aware this flight ops via Manchester ?

Yes they have to take on fuel in Manchester due to short runway in Bristol. I think we are on the ground for an hour before heading off to Sanford.

it went tech in brs. they ended up getting another aircraft in to operate the flight. not sure what the fault was but they were just about to start boarding when it was picked up.

Fca B767 Brs-sfd

My first posting on the forum,

The problem with the first choice B767 (G-PJLO) was that as the aircraft commenced its taxi from stand 29, it lost its hydraulic fluid on the apron between stands 29 and stand 25 and was unable to steer.

A replcement 767 (G-DBLA) was brought in from Manchester to operate the delayed flight. This then departed to Sanford direct off runway 09!!

Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply. Which of these aircraft is normally used on this route?

Did they go from BRS direct to SFB on the second aircraft as this flight normally operates via Manchester?

Thanks again.

Hi there M I

The aircraft used tend to rotate around different bases.

The flights do usually operate via Manchester, but on this occasion the flight did operate direct to SFB.
