Checking in a bag at T5

Hi

Does anyone know what is the maximum length of time before a flight that you can check in a bag at T5?

I am in London for a few days next week and have a late returning flight but would prefer not to cart it around allday unless I have to

thanks

There is a left luggage area on the arrivals level (north end)

Not sure what they charge though.

£6.50 per bag per 24 hours (or part).

In T5 there is also an office on the departures level next to the Customs desks, according to BAA and the operator. This may be more convenient if the bag is later to be checked-in.
