Sewing needles in the cabin.

My wife and I are heading across the pond with CO next month...and she likes to do some cross-stitching to pass the time...the last time we went across the Atlantic, some folk had managed to bring wooden knitting needles on-board...

Does anyone know what would be permitted by CO? The cross-stitching uses small metallic sewing needles...

Thanks in advance!

Hi
In my opinion, the sewing needles would be classed as prohibited items and not allowed to be carried in handbaggage.

To be absolutely sure, my advice would be to ring the Information Desk at you're departing airport and ask the question.

Hope this helps.
