Korean Air economy - AVOD upgrade dates?
Flying KAL LHR - ICN - AKL mid October then returning SYD - ICN - LHR mid November (price and a "free" stopover at the Hyatt Incheon persuaded me and Mrs HP to give KAL a go)
Having done a little research it appears the 747-400 used on the LHR - ICN has been upgraded with AVOD but both the 777-200 on the ICN - AKL leg and the 747-400 on the SYD - LHR have no PTV systems at all at the moment let alone AVOD.
I understand KAL are upgrading all their long haul aircraft with AVOD and wondered if anybody out there knows when the Incheon - Auckland and Incheon - Sydney routes are likely to get the makeover.
If not a personal DVD player will be on the shopping list, long way to twiddle your thumbs!
