Runway issues, Bodrum
Hi and hope there may be some info here that can help with a query, not on one airline but re. an airport....
I'm looking for any comments about runway issues such as potential deterioration or even sinking of the surface at Bodrum, plus does anyone have any info about the development of a new airport to replace this one, to be sited between Altinkum and Akbuk in the Didim region of Turkey? I know the Turkish Gov. has rejected a recent tender for redevelopment of Bodrum and wonder if there is any substance to the rumours of a possible new airport in the region.
