Charter Costs - ball park figures

Not sure if this is the correct forum but it seemed the least inappropriate one.
Rather than waste charter companies time asking for formal quotes which I suspect will not lead anywhere is there any rule of thumb which would give me a very rough costing for a charter from Edinburgh to either Reykijavik or Akeyriri in Iceland and return ten days later. Looking at up to 40 people.
I could then decide if it was worth taking any further.
Thanks

Maybe £40k for a jet, but maybe £30k if you were willing to lose a few people and travel on a D328 prop.

10 day trip means the aircraft would have to fly 2X one-way trips. It won't wait on the ground for you.
