KLM seat allocation
Greetings all.
Does anyone know what's up with KLM seat allocation at the moment?
I've flown with them quite a bit lately (just Europe) and each time there's a staggering number of passengers who are travelling together (booked together, checked in on time together) but seated separately. The classic is giving them all the same seat letter but in different rows....
General chaos when everyone tries to rearrange themselves onboard, of course.
Happy flying.

The biggest reason for this is that many people check in on line thus blocking out seats, and often means that the poor beggars who go to do normal check in end up being sat apart. As crew it is a bit of a nightmare too, as families are often split up and we need to reseat pax so that children can be with their parents. Also sometimes the seats end up being jumbled up due to an aircraft change on the day. I.e pax have checked in online for a f100/101 and on the day it changes to a 103/108 (exit row numbers are different) so causes a bit of confusion, or worse still the a/c is changed to an f70 from a 100. murder lol.
Roll on getting the embraer!!!
