The length of the seat belts?
Hi
I'm flying to London in a couple of weeks and Iäm terrified that the seat belts won't fit me. I will be flying with easyjet and I have called them several times but they don't know the length.
Soo, maybe someone here does..

If you're afraid the seat belts don't fit, you should be more worried that you won't fit in the seats at all. All airliners I know have multiple seat belt extensions available but extra-wide seats are not.
You might get a better overall experience if you tell Easyjet (or us) your weight and/or bum/belly size so they (or we) can tell you whether you're going to fit in the seat or not.
Just out of curiosity, I checked the Easyjet site and the minimum width of their seats (measured between the armrests) is 17.5 inches (44 cm), with a minimum pitch (seat back to seat back) of 29 inch (72.5 cm). If you don't fit in that space, book two seats.

The thing is that I'm not worried at all about not fitting in the seat, I know I do. Just worried about the seat belt.
By the way, how does it work with the extenders. You just ask for one on the plane?

Problem with 0A and 0B (do they call it 0B or 0F?) is that the pilots, selfish b*starts that they are, typically reserve these for themselves as soon as they know their roster. There's only a minimal chance that you can beat the pilots to it.

Certainly nothing to worry about. Once on a BMI Baby flight, I was having trouble fastening my seat belt and was offered an extension. I didn't need it in the end, but it was a sufficiently embarrassing experience to get me to make a concerted effort to lose a bit of weight!
In my experience, seat belts seem to vary in length regardless of who you fly with, but if they're too short, extensions are available.

"Ask if you can sit in the left hand seat at the front - the belts there are the stretchy type and adjust to your movements. Its also the best view."
No they're not and you're not permitted to sit in those seats with an extention seat belt, plus they are slightly smaller (seats and seatbelt) then the rest of the cabin (bar the overwing).

if you need an extention just ask hun, easyJet carry 15/16 onboard and it happens everyday. Don't worry about it :-)

Don't worry. I travel to Oz in cattle class. I'm 6'4" tall and weigh 20 stones. I've normally not needed a seat belt extension, but did on the last two flights. No problem at all.

Gosh arent the seats cramped in an aircraft, normal seats that is, the everyday standard ones lol. I was really surprised just how much we were like sardines in the cabin.
There were quite a few people on the plane, bigger men etc who were struggling with the width of the seats. Cant airlines make the seats a tiny bit bigger? Or is that not feasible?
If I were to fly a longer distance then I would definately pay for an upgrade to get a bigger better comfier seat!

Indeed on long haul flights the upgrade is definately worth it. Especially with BA, it's called the champagne challenge in my family. 
If you are only going down the road say ABZ/LHR or MAN/CDG etc it's not really worth it.
Seat widths vary as wildly as legroom, the narrowest seats I have ever seen was on the Flybe Q400's not nice and very firm.

I've decided not to go. I'm having panicattacks about this and I know I'm not going to be able to force myself on the plane knowing that the seatbelts may not fit me.

Sounds like you have a problem that's slightly more than just whether the belts are going to fit...
