A work colleague is going to Oz on holiday later this year, and asked if I knew anything about Etihad as an airline. Any info for him?

Excellent recent 14 hour flight from AUH to JFK in pearl class. Aircraft was an Airbus 340-500. The flat bed which includes a massage feature knocks spots off the BA ones. Cabin service was excellent and the IFE the same although I didn't think much of the choice of films.... not a criticism really just my tastes.
Due to return next week and actually looking forward to a chance of some relaxation (in Houston at the moment) which for a 12+ hour flight must say something about them.
