Eva Air (Upgrade)

Doing LHR-BKK in couple weeks with Eva Air. Have booked Elite class (PE version) but the misses was asking is it possible upgrade to the business class (ie flat beds). The trip is booked as part of a package tour with Hayes & Jarvis, contacted Eva Air about possible upgrade they said it would have be booked with H & J. The very nice lady at Eva did say they would have upgraded at a discount price but as feared no such luck with H & J.Does anyone know if possible to upgrade at check in and if so would they discount there.Any other ideas are of course most welcome.

When I've booked long-haul with a travel company who obtained flight discounts with the airline and turned up at check-in, they told me to ring the travel company to ask about an upgrade and the cost, as the airline could not do it themselves.
