British Airways LHR - DXB

Hi

I'm taking a short break to Dubai in a couple of weeks and flying with BA. Now I always thought that both BA's daily flights were operated by 777s but when I called up today to query something with my booking the lady at BA said it was a 744!

Can anyone in the know confirm this?

Cheers!

Hi,

I always thought 1 of the flights was on a 744 in any case ( timetable shows it is the BA 107 @1230).

There another 3 flights a week on the BA 105 which is a 767 and the BA 109 is a 777

Regards

TBS

During the summer LHR-DXB is an exclusively 777 route for BA, but in the winter (we have just entered the winter timetable) it is a 777 / 763 / 744 mix.

Quite a few aircraft type switches happen at BA between summer and winter seasons.

Let me know the actual date and flight number for your DXB trip and I will let you know the scheduled a/c type.

It's a 747-400, both ways.

Enjoy.
