Checking In Time?
Hi all,
May sound like an obvious question, but with all the security delays etc etc, I was just wondering what time I should get to Manchester Airport (T1) for my 0925 flight with Lufthansa to Frankfurt. Obviously, I'm flying at a peak time, but it is a Saturday. Will 7.30 suffice? Earlier? Later?

You should be ok with the normal 2 hours, I fly into and out of MAN every couple of weeks (peak and off-peak) and the security is now no worse than it was before the increased checks. Expect to queue for up to 15-20 mins at worst, I'd say.
Be warned though, every time I've been to MAN recently, Lufthansa have been announcing check-in delays due to computer system failures...Doubt they'd let you miss a flight if this happened, but you might feel happier with online check in...!
