A Bouquet

I was in Los Angeles when all the kerfuffle broke out and was dreading the trip back.

However, BA staff at LA were absolutely superb, well organised, patient (despite some silly aggravation from some SLF) and helpful. All working extended shifts and then some.

It could have been a real pain, as it was it was merely a minor inconvenience.

Many thanks to any LA staff reading this and I hope it all settles down soon!

Hope this was a return flight back to UK, and not the outbound. If the latter, it's going to be a very different story when you fly back out of the UK airport!

I'm sure all the airline ground staff in London and other airports are doing their very best, as are the (much maligned) security staff!

I just hope that the relevant Government Department quickly come up with some ideas which will have the desired effect, without all of the disruption, or the UK aviation business is going to be badly hit.

(Mr. Blair, remember all the tax income from airlines and their employees, and the revenues that BAA gets from the duty-free shops!)
