Passenger rights /bumped while in US
Appreciate any feedback for my up-coming trip to the US.
I'll be arriving international into SFO with UA and then (transiting with UA same day) going domestic SFO to ORD and finally ORD to DTW. Here's my worry,I've got no more than a few hrs between flights and am thinking it won't take much to throw my schedule off. So the eta into DTW for 23:30 might go pear shaped. Are /would UA put me up somewhere overnight if necessary.

If you are through ticketed from origin (Brisbane?) and it is one ticket booked with UA to your destination (albeit in three sectors) then they are responsible for gettting you there. If in doubt, read the small print in T's&C's but if it's a through ticket then they have to look after you if one sector is delayed.

Thanks.
I've just noticed one of the flights booked no longer exists per the UA flight schedule...and that's on top of changed flight time on one whilst the travel agent was prginally booking them . Should be interesting...
