Mp3 players

How do ive never flown before and taking my 1st trip next week to NZ can i just ask are Mp3 players allowed to be used during the flight ive been told not...its the only thing that'll get myself through it i think.....

No problem, take your PSP/Nintendo whatever as well. Just don't use them on take-off and landing. It's the stuff that transmits like mobbies that get people ratty.

I would suggest buying some noise cancelling headphones. I did this for a trip to Oz at Easter this year, and it made a terrific difference to cutting down engine and cabin noise when listening to my MP3 player and when listening to the onboard entertainment film tracks. Have a good one.
