Thomsonfly to Montreal

hello. Does any of you know what Thomsonfly flies this season to YUL (Montreal)? It is hard to find out and 757 looks to "tight".

Cheers

Thomas Cook fly the B757 (with extra leg room) to Montreal. They operate 757 and A330 to a variety of destinations in Canada as they have a partnership with Canadian Affair. MyTravel have a similiar arrangement with them as well.

As Sagey says, Canadian Affair charter both Thomas Cook and My Travel aircraft. To eastern Canada destinations - Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal (and maybe Halifax) they use Thomas Cook 757s. To western Canada - Calgary and Vancouver - they use A330s of TCX or MYT.

The thought of a charter 757 across the pond might sound something of a nightmare but the aircraft used have a special fit. Instead of 230 passengers packed like sardines, they carry around 180 with 35" seat pitch. This is supposedly the best legroom of any transatlantic (unenhanced) economy class. Looking at the reviews on airlinequality.com it seems to get a big thumbs-up from those that have ustilised the service. I hope they are right as I'm using it to go from GLA-YYZ next month.
