CCTV on planes

The last time I took a shuttle bus to the airport in France, the bus had no less than six CCTV cameras on board and on the outside.

The driver said they were used to monitor the inside of the bus and can be used as evidence especially if a violent act is committed.

He also told me that the cameras mounted on the outside gave almost a 360 degree view of all activity on the road and was used to help determine faults during accidents.

And this got me wondering......I know that there can be CCTV equipment around the flightdeck doors so you can see who's knocking, but do any of your companies use CCTV on board?

For example, would it not help to give more solid evidence in air rage cases, or maybe even hidden ones that could transmit pictures by telemetry during flight which might be useful during hijack situations.

I know that if I thought this through more, I could find loads of reasons why not but just wanted to hear what y'all had on it.
