Bmibaby Carry On Bag

Any BD/WW check in staff able to assist me with this one?
I have a MAN-AGP on WW coming up shortly. It's a tight schedule at AGP and I want to use a standard size carry on suitcase (it meets the size limits posted on the baby website).
The last time I used baby on this route, I was made to check the bag and told that "our policy is to refuse all wheeled cases for carry on". A colleague travelling with me was allowed to carry on his holdall-type bag, despite it being larger and heavier than my case.
Is it standard practice to refuse carry on when a bag has wheels?

baby can and does refuse trolley bags and they are very strict on cabin weight. Recheck the T&Cs and go with that.
Have a good one.
