Anybody know the reason behind the delays on the Manchester/Sandford flight this weekend?

Have a neighbour who was due to fly tomorrow (Saturday) and has been told there is a 24 hour delay.

My best guess is they're tech' delays.
Just a wild stab in the dark of course...

Forgive my sarcasm - it's a very common mistake - but maybe the delay was caused by flight crew trying to find Sandford in the database.

It's Sanford - just the one 'D' at the end.

I know it doesn't answer your question, I know it's mega-pedantic. Just caused me a wry smile as I wondered why the delay. Sorry.
