Flying To New York With Virgin

Hello

I am flying to JFK, tomorrow (Tues 24th) on flight VS3. I am just wondering what Virgin's policy on requesting an upgrade is?

My other half is a Captain for another airline and we booked our tickets through Touchdown - just wondering if this would help our chances in any way?

Also is there any crew reading this who will be on any of our flights? We fly back on Friday 27th on flight VS10.

Hope someone can help me!

Do a search - this question has been asked a million times before.

If you want a sure method of getting up front then buy a business class ticket.

Oh, so many jokes to be had. I flew to JFK last summer and after two hours of immigration began looking for the carousel with my bag on it. As I was doing my meercat impression to look around, an airport employee enquired of me:

"Virgin?"

By which I was taken aback, and replied;

"No, but thanks for asking"
