End Bag.

flew FlyBe from Exeter to Newcastle the other week. Just putting my hold bag away and notice there is a big yellow tag on it with the words "End Bag" in capitals with the origin and destination on it written in pen?

What does it mean?

Dan

It means they can shut the bin/door/whatever and go home. Well, I jest about the last bit, but it does tell the baggage handlers that they need expect no more bags for your flight and therefore not to wait for any more.

Checking in late?

Ah I see. Thanks. Pretty self explanatory when you think about it.

Thank you.

Similarly,

HOT on a bag apparently means that it is a short connection time, I discovered when asking the check-in girl at AMS the other day - not that your bag is radioactive...... or cool (shouldnt that be marked COLD)
