My sympathies to those affected, I'd hate that to happen to the start of my holiday, but is this really national headline news? (Yes, I know it's the "silly season".)
A propos of nothing much, what's the longest delay you've ever experienced? I can't recall anything over 10-hours affecting a flight I've been on.
