Question Tinnies

Hello Guys and Gals,

A quick question from a Helo driver straying outside the safety of the Rotorheads forum.

Tomorrow I take an overseas flight and was wondering if I could put some drinks (softdrink/pop/lollywater) into my check-in baggage?

Is it permitted, safe and is the cargo hold pressurised in a commercial airliner the size of a A340?

Tomorrow is racing up so a quick answer is most appreciated.
Many thanks for your replies.

Steve

Thumbs up

It is both safe and permitted but put 'em in a plastic bag just in case or you may have beer soaked undies if you come across a ramp rat that likes to drop bags from a great height!

Can't say specifically for the A340 but all holds are pressurised in an A320, though not all heated (dogs and cats to the rear please).

Enjoy your trip...
