1 Euro for a glass of water
My other half flew with Iberia to LHR on Thursday this week. The first flight on IB, that either of us has taken since the "you pay for your food and drink" policy came into force.
Needing water to take some medication, she asked for a glass of water......and was charged a euro.
Me thinks IB are taking the p-ss some what.
Mind you it is part of OneWorld.

sounds like another carrier that had better than most service goes down the drain and onto the 'dont bother' list...another case of a Full Service Carrier trying to operate the economy cabin as LCC but charging a premium above LCC (not doubt on the fare u paid IB4138)...it's like an aviation 'split personality'

Quite correct. Ticket was purchased for same price as those we used at Christmas and before IB announced their change of policy. Needless to say there was no refund for the withdrawn cabin service.
At least the LCCs don't charge for a glass of water to take pills!
I've also booked some internal flights to Mahon today..IB were not the best on connections (via Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia) and therefore flight time, or price...so we are using Spanair via Madrid.
Voting with my feet!
