JFK AirTrain commences Dec 17
For those of you who don't enjoy the two-hour taxi ride from Manhattan to JFK, salvation is at hand from the Port Authority of New York. Journey time from Penn station (where you can presumably connect with the Newark SkyTrain) around 30 minutes via the LIRR.
I may have to consider using JFK again ...
