Swiss miles; where to put them?

I'm due to fly businessclass OSL-ZRH-CDG and back with Swiss. This will give me 8000 points on my Swiss Travel Club account.

But, should I use my American Airlines AAdvantage card?

What does this mean? (cut from American Airlines AAdvantage site):
Mileage Accrual Percentage: Business 100% + 25% bonus

Does this mean that by using my AAdvantage card, I'll get 8000 points + 25%?

I don't know the Swiss club, but OSL-ZRH-CDG is 1183 miles, so roundtrip is 2366. However since ZRH-CDG is only 297, so you get a 500 mile minimum, meaning 2772 base miles in total. With the business class supplement that would be 3465 miles on AA. If you are Platinum or above on AA then you get 100% bonus miles, which would be 6237 in total. (AA Gold would get an additional 25% for 4158 miles).

The other thing to bear in mind is that miles are not equal in redemption value - you may get more (or less) for each mile on AA than on Swiss.
