Booster Seat - for 4 year old...
Hi - Flying EasyJet this weekend to France and want to know if a booster seat (not a full blown childs car seat) for a short person counts towards the carry on luggage - he will be sitting on it so he can see out of the window (if we get one).
And can he use it or will it be stuffed into the overhead locker?
Thanks.

booster seat
Hi, it depends how conscientious the crew are. Officially he will not be able to use it.
Because he is over the age of car seat he will not be allowed that either. For safety reasons he must sit in the seat for take off landing and during the flight. Should there be unexpected turbulence he could be injured in a booster seat. Very sorry but Im sure you would rather your child be safe than risk anything happening to him.
We are not being picky when we tell you the rules. Obviously safety of pax, crew and aircraft are always PRIORITY. If people choose to ignore them as they sometimes do, they are jeopardising their safety.
Next year he will be able to see out of the window. Have a lovely flight. Hope I didnt sound too padantic!
