Has anyone considered the real reason for asking such a question is to put the candidate under pressure and gauge their reaction to it-body language, eye movement, nervous twitching etc
The answer is largely not relevant.

The panel is interested to know if the candidate can think quickly to develop a strategy to get an answer, rather than freeze because the question is too hard. So it doesn't matter if he argued to divide by 2 then 2 etc, or round up or down then adjust. The answer is not important, the question is to determine if the candidate can think effectively and quickly about an unexpected problem, this being a great attribute for a potential RAAF pilot.

RAAF Pilot

Hi all, I'm sitting my additional pilot testing soon after passing my YOU session. Does anyone know of any resources that could help me study? I'm sure this has been covered already, however, I couldn't find many that cover spatial awareness, instrument reading, etc.
