RVAC @ Coldstream Feedback?
Hey, Just looking for some feedback for RVAC based at Coldstream? Instructors, Aircraft, Quality Of Training and The School? Has any one trained there or is training there? thanks :)

You'd better ask your mates on the recreational flying forum, they seem to know everything about anything.

That wasn't really the answer i was looking for...........
the information is not for me its for a friend who recently moved out there. |
YLIL just down the road is a great option, a large range of different aircraft ie PA28, C172 , Bonanza's, V Tail as well, Airtourer, etc.
Quite good rates and no breifing charges or landing fees. Great team of staff (Except one :E )and flyaways are very common, some really interesting people fly out of there, Winemakers with a Waco & Lancair IVP , etc. I heard they are also getting in to the LSA market aswell, Hope this helps Regards GFPT |
RVAC are strongly rumoured to be moving the CEM operation to Tooradin. I asked about this a few weeks ago and last week heard (unofficially, of course) that it's certainly on the cards. The AOC at CEM will - apparently - be taken over by two current RVAC members, but run independently.
Maybe VH-XXX can fuel or quell this fire? LIL has no V-tail Bonza anymore, and the C172 is not available for training or private hire. They have RAAus training but not LSA at this stage. They have two good Archers and a Victa for CSU training. Walrus |
