Minima,
Last I spoke to Geoff at a social (a few months now) he was a Saab F/O with REX based at YSWG. |
For the Ansett people - Nan Witcomb, Chrissy Murray, the charming Schembri Sisters, Marg Clarke, Glynnis Byrne, Lou Cope ?
|
Oh sheeeeeeeet!!!!! :ok: :E :} :D
|
Hmmm, the Schembi sisters, now what a pleasant day it was if they were aboard. Back to the present, anyone know where the likes of Byrne, Lowe or Randall are and how to contact them?
Cheers All |
Anyone know the whereabouts of
Stuart Blake Jim Manikas Jonothan Visser :\ |
Any one know the wearabouts of alf noutzo,he was my first instructor from the yarra valley aero club at lilydale in victoria.
|
Going through my first log book I was reminded of some gents with whom I flew at RVAC in the early 80s.
So who can tell me where Nigel Scott, Michael Turner and Guy Bourke are. I know Mike and Nigel went to TN and then elsewhere post-89 , rumours Nigel entered up at Swissair, and Guy was tooling about with Ted Rudge in his Doves. And can someone confirm or deny that Shamus "Shambles" Campbell and Paul "Punchy" Blackshaw are with QF. Two very dangerous men around a beer. |
...Nan Witcomb!...Jeez, how old are you McG?
She still lives in Adelaide...if she's still alive! |
Guy Bourke is a 767 Capt with Australian in Cairns.....when not floating around the country in a Mustang or some other beautiful machinery. Half his luck!
|
Female colleague of mine would like to know where Debbie Wardley is? I last heard of her in KLM Citihopper.
|
FarQ2
Deb is still with KLM CityHopper. Flight Safety Manager if my memory serves me right. |
tsnake......They are both Captains with QF, Seamus on the 747 and Paul on the 767.
|
Anyone know what happened to Graeme Bird, worked with Wilderness Air in Tasmania then reported to have gone back to Qld.
Any update ? |
Curtiss,
Sadly, Graeme passed away almost 18 months ago. |
Way off track here, and pandering to the lowest common denominator :E but I can't help wondering if the six TAA hosties who featured prominently in Billy Thorpe's (second?) book in an incident in Lennons in Brisbane are still known to the flying populace, or are they another figment of Billy's fertile imagination?
|
chimbu warrior, ra ta
Many thanks Bins, No figment of Thorpie's imagination I was assured in a past life. And a gentlemen should not tell tales. But then was Mr Thorpe a gentleman? |
If he was, he was a bloody lucky gentleman by the sounds of it.... :{
|
:}
Fortunately unlike Thorpey, I'm a gentleman so cannot pass on similar tales from the TAA lodge in Lae back in the olden days.:rolleyes: |
Looking for Ed Liu - last heard of around Sydney about 5 years ago.
|
Graeme (Blue) Goodson (ex Ansett)?
