Where are they now? Episode 2

I think part of the reason for the success of the thread has been its simplicity. You ask, hopefully somebody tells you what you want to know. It hasn't been sidetracked, in other words, and I'm sure it will remain successful if we keep it that way.

Keep up the good work, people. I'll try to figure out a way at some stage where the unanswered queries from Part 1 can be transferred over here.

OK, went back through the last few pages. Seems to be a pretty high success rate. The unanswered recent queries are repeated below. I didn't go right back to the beginning, so if you posted a query early and didn't get an answer feel free to post it again here.

Frank Munis... Helicopter engineer from Mt Isa 70's and 80's. Query by FL450, Page 8.

Mark Shaw .. query by Mr Hat, Page 8

John Moss query by Justapplhere, Page 9

Rhena Moore (maiden name) ex-RACWA early 90's. Query by Grivation, Page 9

Paul Millar ... ex Bendigo Aviation and ex-An B737 F/O. Query by Airstairs, Page 9

thanks for the input RE Bruce Clentsmith.

there is some confusion however, regarding his status with AFAP.

someone may wish to see a copy of the 'list'
He seems to be on it. perhaps the author of this list may wish to correct it if its wrong? I will be happy to email the author if someone can confirm his status......

anyway....can anyone else confirm he is at Air Pacific?

By all means correct the "list" if it is incorrect, but "it" nor the "url" may not be published here. W

Thumbs up

Frank Munis is still in Isa, but these days just as the Safety Officer at the field. Can often be spotted removing unwanted birdlife from the area when the NJ 146 arrives.

Phil Muncie (Mouncie?) & Mathew Sandown. Phil I recall used to be a Major in the army.

We did our CPL theory together at Sydney TAFE in 1984. Just wondering what happened to them.

Capt. Greg Martin. Was an Ansett 737 Capt. in the early 90s, believe he was flying the Airbus when Ansett fell over in 2001.

Did a couple of jumpseat sectors with him. His encouragement and generosity helped fulfil my career ambitions.

Kyle Gardner is still in Tassie, working for Hartz mineral water, married with two kids. Gave up full time flying around 95. However the company has its own C310 which he flies now and then.
How about some ex CATA/NASA pilots: Steven Vance, Heidi Douglas, Dean Foran, Rad Domlija?
