RACWA couldnt organise a BBQ on Oz Day, let alone a flying school.

That’s very harsh.

Why is it that people can’t control aeroplanes and end up crashing.

Is their training lacking?

They don’t recognise the conditions are beyond their abilities?

They ignore all the above and land anyway?

It seems to happen so often.

Training can only get you 70% of the way there. The other 30% is experience, and people are reluctant to put their hand up and admit that the conditions on the day are beyond their current experience.

Or to paraphrase that old chestnut.

“I don’t make mistakes because I have experience
I have experience because I’ve made mistakes.”
